About the role

Palmerston Library a place where people come to learn, connect, access technology and explore new interests. As our Library Customer Experience Officer, you’ll help make every visit a positive experience.

You’ll welcome customers, answer questions and help people find the information, resources and services they need. You’ll also help customers use computers, printers, eBooks and other technology, keep our collection organised, prepare new books and resources for borrowing, and support library programs and community activities.

You’re comfortable using computers and everyday technology, keen to learn new systems and happy to share your knowledge with others. You can work independently, use your initiative and pitch in wherever needed.

You bring a positive attitude, treat people from all backgrounds with respect and understand the importance of making everyone feel welcome.
