Be at the heart of Council operations in this dynamic and varied role supporting the General Manager. You’ll be a key connection between the General Manager’s office, staff, Council, stakeholders and the Palmerston community. From managing busy diaries and correspondence to coordinating meetings, preparing reports and keeping actions on track, you’ll help keep everything running smoothly. You’ll also act as the secretariat for Council committee’s and networks, coordinating agendas, preparing meeting documentation, taking minutes and following up actions.
You’ll support research, procurement, records management and customer service while ensuring information is accurate, timely and confidential. If you’re proactive, organised and thrive on variety, this is your opportunity to make a real impact across the organisation.
You’re the organised, switched-on person who can keep things moving when the to-do list keeps growing! You bring strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities without losing sight of what matters.
