About the Role
In this fixed-term role until 27 October 2026, you’ll design and deliver engaging library programs for children, youth, adults, and seniors, including coordinating School Holiday activities. You’ll prepare resources, support promotion, and monitor program outcomes. As a key front-line team member, you’ll provide professional customer service, assist with digital technologies and eResources, and help maintain library collections. You’ll also respond to a range of customer needs with empathy and professionalism. This role offers a mix of creativity, community engagement, and hands-on service delivery, including occasional evening and weekend work.
About you
This role focuses on delivering engaging programs for children and adults while providing excellent, community-focused library services. You’ll connect with people of all ages and backgrounds, offering support with empathy and respect. Working both independently and as part of a team, you’ll use your communication skills and confidence with technology to assist customers and adapt to new systems. A proactive approach, willingness to learn, and commitment to professional development are essential.
Relevant certifications, including a current NT driver’s licence, Ochre Card, and First Aid Certificate, are required.
