About the Role
Join our team to bring Council events to life in this fixed-term 6-month role! From Palmerston Youth Festival to Citizenship Ceremonies and FlicNics, you’ll help plan, coordinate, and deliver memorable experiences for the community. You’ll manage logistics, work with vendors, support promotions, and ensure every event runs safely and smoothly.
About You
You’re organised, hands-on, and ready to make things happen. You have experience or qualifications in event or project management, enjoy working with diverse stakeholders, and can juggle multiple tasks under tight timelines. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends comes naturally, and you thrive in both team and independent environments.

Collection
City of Palmerston collects personal information from you in relation to current or future employment opportunities with our organisation. Your personal information can be collected at any stage of our recruitment process.

Use

Complaint

Your complaint will be investigated within five business days and a written response will be provided. Alternatively, you may make a complaint to the Northern Territory Information Commissioner (although the Commissioner may decline to hear the complaint if you have not first made a complaint to the City of Palmerston).
